This is a simple casino game that you play against the bank. You only have 3 betting options; Player, Banker or Tie. After you have placed your bet, the card is dealt and your choice is meant to get the most points, so that you win from the bank. The object of game is to get close to 9 as possible.
The card value is the face value; in other words, the value of the card itself, except for the pictures and the 10. They are worth 0 points. An Ace is worth 1 point. No matter how many players want to play, 4 cards are always dealt. Starting with ‘Player’, the card is dealt 1 to 1; player, dealer, player, dealer. Players can now bet on the dealer or the player. It is also possible to bet on a tie = a draw (but this bet has the worst possible chance of winning.) All cards are turned over and the value of the 2 cards is added together. Does a hand get more than 9 points? Decades of expired. A 6 and an 8 together are 14 points and that becomes 4.
What happens after this standard start depends on the cards that have been dealt:
•If 1 of the 2 hands has reached 8 or 9, the game is over and this hand wins.
•This rule overrules all other rules.
•Next, the player’s hand is first looked at
•If ‘player’ has achieved 0-5 points, he receives one more card.
•With a total of 6 or 7, the player does not receive a card, he folds.
•The banker’s play depends on his own hand, whether the player was dealt a card and the value of the 3rd card that the player was dealt;
•If the player did not get a 3rd card, i.e. fold, then the banker takes a card if he has a total of 0 to 5, and folds 6 and 7.
•If player has gotten a 2 or 3 with the 3rd card, then the banker will get a card with a total of 0 to 4, and will stand with 5 to 7.
•If player gets a 4 or 5, then banker will be dealt another card with a total of 0 – 5, and will pass with a total of 6 – 7.
•If player has drawn a 6 or 7, the banker will be dealt another card with a total of 0 – 6, and will pass with a total of 7.
•If player has drawn an 8, the banker will be dealt another card with a total of 0 – 2, and pass with a total of 3 – 7.
•If the player has been dealt an ace or other face, 9 or 10, the banker will turn a card when he has a total of 0 – 3 and will stand with 4 – 7.
